Festivalul Femei pe Matasari ”Woman On Matasari Street Festival’’ it’s a festival about woman. Not so long ago, Matasari street use to be a street of prostitution, were woman did not have a bright future. ”Femei pe Matasari’’ want’s to change the perseption about woman with a new theme every year. This year the theame was ”Change”. The woman committed to change, all in a state of good urban carousel and beautiful work. Three days, one street, dozens of projects, social engagement, fashion, dance, theater and a stage were many Romanian beloved artists will climb.

Street Delivery, is a project started by the Order of Architects of Romania and Carturesti Library in 2006 in an attempt to recover public space for pedestrians between the Gradina Icoanei Park and Cismigiu Park. It is all about the right to have an area of promenade and a city where we could breathe. Street Delivery is a celebration of the street and people should enjoy it. The project provides a platform for civic initiatives, social, cultural and artistic. The 9th edition of the event proposed projects like: architecture and planning, arts, workshops, film screenings, theater and not least live music.

Bucharest Jazz Festival is opening the summer parties in Bucharest.5 days of great music around the city clubs, free concerts in George Enescu Square. The Romanian jazz scene is very present, while maintaining a world-class line-up. There are many related events module: like book launches, disc, Jazz film series, symposia and debates, poster exhibition.

Summer Well, one of the biggest music festivals in Bucharest with over 25.000 people attending. Summer Well is in the race for the prize of “Best Medium-Sized European Festival ‘and’ Best Small European Festival” in the “European Festival Awards 2013 ‘. The festival is 20 km away from the center. Names like, The XX, Placebo,Tom Odell,The Vaccines or Suede are common for the stages of the Summer Well Festival.

Zilele Bucurestiului (Bucharest Days). Bucharest has reasons to celebrate. It turns 555 years so this round figure will be honored. The city council is preparing a series of events to celebrate the fact. Traffic on several streets in downtown Bucharest will be restricted starting Friday evening until Monday morning. One of the most beautiful things to be part of is the parade of carriage and the craftsmen fair, where the craftsmen will be dressed as they did long time ago. Music will be played everywhere!

George Enescu Festival is held in honor of the celebrated Romanian composer George Enescu. Is the biggest classical music festival and classical international competition held in Romania and one of the biggest in Eastern Europe. The competition portion of the Festival lasts about a week, and it consists of three different categories: composition, piano and violin.
