Romanian woman love fashion! Don’t they all?
They would spend their entire savings for one particular dress that got their attention. You can see that on the street, but more obvious at special events or by night as they dress up to party.
There are many Romanian luxury woman designers to please all wishes, here are my favorite ones.
Catalin Botezatu, there would be so much to say about this amazing designer but we don’t have enough space here. Botezatu attended the European Institute of Fashion in Milan, where he was a student of Gianni Versace, which has left its mark on many of his future creations. Impressed by the talent of his student, the Italian creator took Botezatu to work for six months in the famous “Versace Workshops” in Milan. Botezatu creations were always centered on two areas: Haute Couture for woman, with more than 15 collections and underwear for men.

Maria Lucia Hohan is one of the most popular young designer from Romania. She graduated in design at the Superior Institute of Applied Arts Paris and then immediately headed to Milan where she worked for a short time as an illustrator for Krizia, under the supervision of Mariucciei Mandelli.
MLH concept is to create provocative outfits but innocent at the same time, so the woman that wears them to show confidence, become more feminine and more playful.
In the last years, she won the heart of Hollywood, divas like Jenifer Lopez, Catherine Zeta-Jone , Dita von Teese, Vanessa Hudgens and so on…
Carol Davila Street, No. 21
Stephan Pelger studied at the Fashion Institute in Vienna. After finishing his studies, Stephan worked for the brands Missoni, Schella Kann and Di Vercallo Cashmere. Stephan starts his own company in 2004 and in 2005, he presents his first collection. Now Stephan Pelger is a well-known high profile brand present on the national and international fashion market. His creations are designed for young, self-confident and modern women who set value on taste, style and elegance.

Ingrid Vlasov, studied fashion design at The European Institute of Design in Rome, Italy. She establishes, in 1997, her own label ,which ,over the years, was to become one of the most emblematic names of Romania’s fashion stage. Ingrid Vlasov’s style is an interpretation of the “Contemporary Luxury “ concept , seen from a perspective that is imprinted with femininity and breaths a fresh air of modernity. In her designs, Ingrid is inspired by: seduction, rain, sophistication, music, silk, lilac, autumn, love, movies, elegance, history, bliss, dance, equilibrium, velvet, sensibility, luxury, ineffable.
Parlor is a new fashion brand, launched in 2009 favored by Romanian celebrities. The Parlor items are a tailored tribute to beauty and the brand style ensures a wide range of combinations, from the most classic to the hippest. With the conviction that, no matter the trends and times, a woman must still be refined, feminine and elegant, the young designer Veronica Zaharia proposes for the Parlor collections a timeless feminine line, with architectural influences, modern finishing and hand made details. The outfits are all made of precious materials, natural silk, lace, silk velvet and leather.

Elena Perseil has graduate the University of Art in Bucharest. She continued her studies at the University ESMOD in Paris. She worked at several fashion houses in Paris, traveled to India where she learned to work with silk and handmade embroidery studied. In 1996 she received the award for the most promising young designer of the year from the Kent Institute in London.
Elena Perseil collections are for stylish women with a glamorous style, who like to feel comfortable in what they wear. Elena uses fine fabrics for summer collections and artificial fur, cloth, leather, cotton and knit for winter collections.
