The brewing industry is a global business, consisting of several dominant multinational companies and many thousands of smaller producers ranging from brewpubs to regional breweries. Beer houses or pubs can be the perfect place for a night out in town.
Caru cu bere, one of the oldest restaurant and beer houses of Bucharest. It is the place where you can eat some of the most delicious romanian dishes and where you can enjoy beer made after a single recipe, originated in 1879. It is the place that keeps Bucharest immortal spirit of another time.

Beraria Bragadiru Live Music is one of the biggest German beer houses in Bucharest. They have an indoor and outdoor space. The food is traditional, Romanian and German, they serve grill German sausages, beef steaks and many more. Try their unique brand of beer, filtered or unfiltered, famous for its distinct taste and freshness. It is personally brewed of a secret recipe in the club’s private brewery. in weekends there are live music performances.
Calea Rahovei, No.157 ($$)
Curtea Berarilor, is a brewery of the local brand Timisoreana. This is the only beer they serve. The place is decorated with old paintings and old boilers, creating a special atmosphere, specific for Centrul Vechi ( Old Town). Sit at one of the tables where you can serve yourself and pay at the end. It is one of the most popular breweries in the Old Town
Selari Street, No.9-11 ($$)
Oktoberfest is a pub on 3 levels, located in Centrul Vechi (Old Town) designed for sporting events with 12 TVs. They only serve Skoll beer, mici, (a traditional grilled minced meat) and sausages. The music is oldies, rock, blues and country. The place is frequented by young folks.

La Belle Epoque is transposing you in the good old times, in the Belgian cafés from 1920-1950. Like any top pub, La Belle Epoque has its attractions, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere where people can socialize in a comfortable environment. Beraria H is situated in Herastrau. It is the largest brewery in Eastern Europe and the newest in town. It has a indoor space of 4,300 square meters and 3,500 square meters outside. There are some problems with the staff, but hopefully not for long. We give them the chance of training their personnel. The weekends are for famous Romanian band concerts.
